A little more about me…
Before becoming a celebrant, I worked for a busy West-End theatre producer. I was a General Manager and my days (and many nights!) were dedicated to theatre production and producing shows. I loved it. Just before the pandemic however, I was feeling the burn out, so I decided to take a break. I needed it and my family needed me at home for a while. Little did I know that I’d be at home for much longer than anticipated…!
COVID was a tough time for all of us, wasn’t it? But I did feel like I was afforded a moment to assess what was important in life and I knew it was time for me to find a new career. I wanted to find something else that I loved doing, that used my creative AND production skills but something that was all mine.
Devastatingly, I lost my stepsister to bowel cancer in 2021. At the funeral, the celebrant was incredible. She captured Elizabeth so perfectly. She made a dark day that little easier to bear and she helped our family enormously through a very difficult time. A few days later it hit me; that’s what I wanted to do for others.
So here I am, creating ceremonies that are completely unique to you or the family member you are remembering. If I can help you, please get in touch. I would LOVE to hear from you.

Here is a short video taken as I finished by wedding certification and goes into more detail about what has motivated me to be a celebrant and why I’m excited about being one, especially YOURS!
